Super Modified Brownies
Brownies are such a yummy dessert. It would be very difficult to find someone who doesn’t enjoy a good chocolate brownie. Whenever I make them, I always add-on to the packaged mix to customize them for the occasion, making them irresistible. My favorite go-to choice is adding peanut butter chips to the batter, but that is because I LOVE peanut butter and chocolate together. Could there be a better combination? I don’t think so, but that’s just my humble opinion. You can add whatever you or your family and friends like. So just don’t serve plain old brownies. Be creative! Make them special by turning them into a dessert that will get rave reviews from everyone!
1 box brownie mix, your choice
Add-0ns, your choice
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Stir in extras: chocolate, peanut butter or other chips, nuts (your choice-I usually use pecans because I enjoy their crunchy flavor), M&Ms (use whatever color M&Ms to fit the holiday or occasion), miniature marshmallows, candy pieces, dried fruit, bacon (yes, bacon!!), etc. The list can go on and on. You can even bake the brownie mix in 12 regular-size lined muffin cups spooning about ¼ cup batter into each cup. Press a bite-size mini peanut butter cup into the center of each and bake for 30-35 minutes until springy to the touch. Enjoy!
