Fruity Dream Dessert
Nothing could be easier than to start with a store bought pound cake. No bake, no oven to heat up your kitchen, so it is perfect when you need a sweet treat for those hot summer days. Since you choose the fruit, you can tailor it to the occasion or whatever flavor your family enjoys. Use fruit that is in season for extra savings.
2 cups milk
1-3.4oz pkg. instant French vanilla pudding mix
1-8oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1-12 oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip)

Store bought pound cake
In a medium bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth; fold in pudding mixture. Last, fold in whipped topping.
Cut pound cake into slices and arrange on bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 dish, trimming to fit as necessary. Add fruit on top: you can use ANY fruit or jam/spread you like—sliced bananas to make banana cream, raspberry or strawberry preserves, sliced peaches, etc. Spread or arrange over cake. Spread pudding mixture over top all the way to edges. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 3 hours. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
