Hash Brown Delight

 

Our family has enjoyed this dish for as long as I can remember.  It is my go-to potato dish.  Easy to whip up in no time and pop in the oven, you can also make it a day ahead of time and keep it refrigerated until you are ready to bake.  Comforting and cheesy, it is a no-brainer if you need a great side dish.

 

2 lb. frozen hash browns      1 can cream chicken soup

½ cup butter, melted              1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon salt                       1 cup milk

½ teaspoon pepper                1 onion, chopped

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

 

 

Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan.  Put hash browns in large bowl.  Mix in other ingredients and put all in prepared pan.  Top with crushed potato chips if desired for crunch.  Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes.  Enjoy!
