Overnight Sticky Buns
This recipe comes from my sister, Linda. It has become my traditional Christmas morning treat for my family. Before going to bed on Christmas Eve I throw this together and let it sit on top of the stove. In the morning it has risen so much that it almost is overflowing in the pan. The warm cinnamon scent fills the entire house, and the sticky butterscotch glaze runs down the sides after you turn it up-side-down on a platter. Serve warm to rave reviews—your family will love it!!
1 pkg. frozen Rhodes Dinner Rolls
1-3.5 oz. pkg. cook and serve butterscotch pudding
2/3 stick butter margarine
½ cup brown sugar
2 t. cinnamon
Whole or chopped pecans (optional)
Grease a large bundt pan. Place pecans in bottom of pan. Place frozen Rhodes Rolls on top of nuts (up to 18 rolls). Sprinkle pudding over rolls. Melt butter; mix with packed brown sugar and cinnamon, and spoon over rolls. Place waxed paper over top and let stand overnight. The rolls will rise overnight and should reach the top of the bundt pan. In the morning bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Let cool a few minutes in pan, then turn up-side-down on to serving plate. Enjoy!
